A friend has been given 2 weeks at the Sheraton Broadway Plantation. Week 51 is a 2bdr, Week 12 is a 1bdr. What kind of trading power does it have with Interval? Many thanks.

week 51 is most times the week before Christmas and not a high trader like Christmas week itself.

there may be some value but not much.. how, or why was he given this week. he may want to give it back when he figures out how much the maintenance fees are for the lack of trading power.

Thanks, I was afraid of that. They were given them in a will. Now they have to try to spin gold out of them.

I own SBP. It is a tiger trader in Interval because it has a Starwood preference.

Starwood appears to have "adjusted" the timing and quality of its Interval deposits, so it remains to be seen how well SBP will trade in the future. But used carefully, it will have value.

The MF's on the one bedroom are low ($545 for mine), so that unit will not be too expensive to hold as you learn.

Will the OP have two (2) maintenance fees to pay each year and how much is the maintenance fee for the two (2) bedroom unit?

The one bedroom unit maintenance fee is estimate at $545 per year; plus the OP will need to pay a second MF for the two (2) bedroom unit. MF will be over $1400 per year.

I would think that the trading should be good because the resort is located in Myrtle Beach. One of the best places to play golf year round.

There are different one bedroom sizes with different fees. The least expensive one bedroom is the Deluxe One Bedroom unit in Plantation Phase or One bedroom in Palmetto Phase (Buldings 18, 19, 20 and 26).

They have 2 EOYS, both Odd years, and I know the 1bdr was around $260 mf, and can't remember the cost of the 2bdr mf. A relative died, and they said they'd take them both.

Should I direct her to the Starwood forum? I am clueless about the Starwood preference and how it works.
