Offered a gift that could be $50, $100, $200, $500 or a $1,000 to attend an owner's update. Actually received $100. Update was promised to be 45 mins. Short video then followed by individual meetings. Not much new. 8 new resorts coming. Discussed buyback program. Once the sales guy saw that all my contracts were resale discussion change to the need to "Wyndhamize" account as I did not really have a "contract" with Wyndham. The threat was that at some point in the future I might be limited to only my resale resorts.

I was offered a package at $180 per thousand to make my account right. Did not discuss what it would cost to get to VIP and did not try to negotiate. I cannot understand why you would want to pay to get to VIP when you can get contracts for free. Yes some of the benefits are nice but it would take too long to recoup your investment.

Old town Alexandria is a great resort. The 1 BR was large. Wireless initially did not work.
