I am selling a timeshare week to someone who contacted me through a website ad (not TUG) for $1,000.
He offerd to prepare the deed and pay me through PayPal AFTER he has the notarized deed in hand.
Closing company is not really necessary as we are both experienced in how a deed has to look.
But I would feel a little more comfortable if using escrow.
How do you usually handle transactions for such low purchase prices?
Has anyone used a pure escrow service (no deed preparation and filing) and what would that cost for $1,000 purchase price?
