MFs end up being about $9.00 per point owned, or $4.50 per year. They are paid on a quarterly basis.

The answers are from my experience with MGV. I no longer have the grid, but this would probably get a week in a studio. At Cabo Azul, a few days in a one bedroom Garden View, or a couple of days Ocean View 2 bedroom.

111 points is good for a fulll week in a one bedroom unit at most of the Monarch resorts. However, you need more points for a full week at Cabo Azul and the Cancun resort in Las Vegas during peak times, or maybe all year around. I think the 143 point plan covers all resorts for a week.

And the maintenance fees described are yearly.

PAID $3,000.00 for a company to PAY another company to take this piece of **** off my hands. Wow. What a relief. Got out while I could. this was like sept. 2014 or so.
DON'T buy a monarch grand /diamond resorts timeshare EVER. There are no consumer protections, even in California. (as of sept 2014 at least) DON'T pay upfront fees for someone to SELL your monarch/diamond timeshare.

Did you verify with resort management, that this timeshare has been taken out of your name and transferred to someone else?
