Hi All,

I was lucky this year and I got reservations for the long weekend of Memorial Day and a week during Labor Day 2015. So I'm pretty well set for next year.

I have 25,000 Wyndham points left over that expire on 3/31/16 with no House Keeping Credits. I currently have 91,000 points in RCI that expire on 12/31/2016. I believe I get my new 154,000 Wyndham points for 2017 in March.

Should I transfer the 25,000 Wyndham points to RCI and get them added to the 91,000 points or should I keep them in Wyndham?

I have transferred points to RCI but I really don't know how to use it so I lost them previously :bawl: I would like to maybe book a week in 2017 using the RCI points. Is there any way that I can extend the 91,000 points that expire on 12/31/2016 and add the 25,000 Wyndham points to that to make it 116,000 points?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Rick

If it were me, I would wait until March 2015 and put the 25k points in the credit pool so they're good until March 2018. I'm not sure if you'll need to purchase housekeeping credits in order to pool points... I've never been in that situation.

Also no experience with extending points in RCI. But if you access the RCI portal from Wyndham's site you can search and book using your 91k points.

Expensive to credit pool 25 000 points. I would find away to use most of them.

Expensive for some perhaps... but "if it were me" that's what I would do if I knew I wouldn't use them before they expired and I had previously lost points deposited to RCI.

500 wyndham points leftover

HI all I have 500 Wyndham plus points leftover and my use year ends this year, is there anything I can do with the points, maybe give them away to someone or put them some place., as they will be lost at the end of the year. Regards Bev

There's not really anything you can do with those; it's about $3 worth of points.
