An availability came up for us at the Clarion's Beach Quarters in Virginia Beach. I am a little concerned about the weather that time of year. Is it warm enough then? Have any of you vacationed there that time of year? Also, do you know about this place? Is it nice and will it comfortably accommmodate a family of 5 (2 parents & 3 tall teenage boys)?

Thanks for your help!

The resort, just ok, the location great, the weather in June hot, but not as hot as July and Augest, but good beach weather. Teenagers probably wouldn't mind much, but the resorts offered in this area are just ok. If you have teenagers they would probably have more fun in Atlantic City, NJ where you can take them to the steel pier, some shows, and a 35min drive to Moorey's Piers in Wildwood, NJ. My kids love that trip a lot more than they did VA beach.

I own there. The weather should be warm. I you are staying in a 1BR that sleeps 6, it will be a little cramped. There are two double beds in the unit and a sleeper sofa in the living area. The kitchen is compact.

Weather will be close to perfect. Low humidity, temps in the 80s and maybe 90s at the most.

However, the ocean will be cold.

Thank you

Thanks for the info. We have a 2 BR presidential suite. What's the size/configuration of those?

Also, what activities do you recommend for entertainment and "must sees"?

Great location of the resort and the beach. The resort is on the beach side of the ocean.
Teenagers will have plenty of activities to do all week. There is a water park off the strip, movies within walking distance from the resort, fast food rests, teenage night clubs, variouis surf shops up and down the strip and the teenagers will enjoy girl watching on the strip and beach.

Plus Jamestown, Busch Garden and Water Country USA is located in Colonial Williamsburg, VA and you are only about a hour and about 15 minutes away from Colonial Willimaburg, VA.

For the adults great beach and clean. Great seafood restuarants, golf courses and malls are near.

Enjoy your week at the Beach.
