We are considering spending December 20-27 in SC. Have been to HH and MB in the summer. Is there much to do during Christmas and are restaurants open? Thanks for any guidance or suggestions.

If it matters, the average temperature in Hilton Head is a few degrees higher in December.

Hilton Head, but only because it is closer to Savannah. I've found Myrtle Beach to be pretty dreary at Christmastime.

We found Hilton Head pretty boring at Christmastime last year. Not sure we'd go back that time of year. Mostly too cold even for walks on the beach.

I went to Myrtle Beach at Thanksgiving once many years ago and it was way too cold. Looking for somewhere to go this year for the long holiday weekend and can't find anything on such short notice that looks very inviting.
