My sales guy and his manager were aware of TUG but instead of getting me out of it any quicker, I think it just took they exact same amount of time they would just leave me sitting at the table by myself while they went off to discuss thinks for 20-30 minutes at a time. And I didn't tell them I wasn't buying I made it clear that I was already an owner and if they showed me something that was too good to pass up I would buy it on the spot. So after the breakfast and the tour (which I didn't mind) I had about 20 minutes of talk at the table and 40 minutes of sitting at the table by myself broken up by quick visits from the sales guy. Then I was lead to the gifting place. Had to sit another 10 minutes waiting for the final -final guy which took 2 minutes and then I had to sit another 20 minutes while the real gift girl got my prepaid Visa ready. All of this while after the first 2 hours I kept insisting that I wanted to get back to my kids to go to the water park. I think my scheduled time was 9am and I had the card in my hand by 12:45pm.
The points they are offering for some of the units really are better than any other that I know of on the market and would really have resale value in the $4000-$5000 range. Problem is they want to sell it to you in the $30,000-40,000 range and when they start going any below $20,000 without a Massanutten trade in or $10,000 with a good massanutten trade it then they start slipping in points packages that wouldn't be worth $1000 on the resale.
They have units that will get you about 176,000 RCI points for $810 in MF's. Weeks at the grandview that get 98,000 points for $700 in mf go for around $2500 and the ones that get 144,000 for $700 go for around $3500-$4500.
