Duped?
If you relied on the salesman's spiel then you bought something different that what you heard.
If renting these weeks was as easy and profitable as some sales people say, why in the world would developer sell them to you?
The good new is that you bought into a great resort chain, the bad news is that you paid retail.
As I learned when I was a kid, the enjoyment of a quality product will be around long after the sting of overpayment fades.
Learn the system, enjoy those great resorts, and try not to beat yourselves up, most of us paid retail for our 1st( or 2nd
) purchase. The best reward is to live well .

We purchased 3 weeks at the Mayan Palace in Nuevo Vallarta in October. A very high pressure sales pitch showed us how we would recoup our investment in no time. We already had a vacation club membership with a low yearly fee. We were told if we hired a broker for a low one-time fee they could easily sell our exisiting membership as well as all our weeks. We hired a broker when we returned home and nothing has sold yet. Should we hold out hope or were we duped?
