Changing 2BR lockoff reservation into two separate reservations?

Hoping somebody (DeniseM?) can answer this question. If you booked a reservation for a 2BR lockoff can you change it later on to split it into 2 separate reservations with different checkin guests/renters?

Just call or email at MSC.com and ask them to the (studio, 1 bdrm) in such and such name. Include their address and phone number as well. Each party will be able to check-in separately and have their own credit card linked to that room.

Yes - just call reservations, and tell them you want to split it into 2 confirmations, and give them the guest's info. for both confirmations.

You may have taken care of this already but you can also change reservations online. We have a 2 bdrm lockoff and will use it this year as two separate weeks.

We had to change the dates twice already because of our own schedules but both times we did it on the Starwood owner's site and both times got confirmation emailed.
