I am at a total lost with point systems. Can some explain to me how many points are required for a one bedroom April or Sept stay. Also, does it matter at which resort you purchase the points on the resale market?

If you are deeded at Majestic Sun, you can begin making reservations up to 13 months out.. If you are deeded at anothe resort, you can only make reservations 10 months out or less.
Spend some time in the Wyndham section here, plus you'll also find numerous other Wyndham forums that provide great information..
I'm actually a Wyndham fan! *(Not for the developer or really even the system, but I do love many of their resorts!).. I also think that Wyndham offers the best access to the Destin area.
Good luck with your purchase.. Take your time, and learn as much as possible before signing a contract.
