I've already come to the conclusion that there is no way to get the money back. Why am I here? To make others aware that Resort Sales Group AKA Vacation realty international is another of the scammers preying on the weak and the elderly. (even had the gall to say his mother was in her 70's with limited income and will treat my Mom like his.) The first payment was $1850 with a guarantee of the $11,800 within 90 days. The second payment was for lawyers fees and advertising for $550.

The other reason.....has anyone had any luck with getting monies back, or any ideas on how to go about at least trying?

I have left e-mails and messages with every still working # and site. Of course most do not work.

Beware and Thanks!
Kim

What state were they headquarter in? Florida AG has been very busy arresting some of these outfits.

report them to the atty generals office in both the state you live in, and the states their business is listed in.

There are also a lot of scammers who will claim they can get the money back. Don't fall for it. They will charge another upfront fee and do nothing.

If she paid by credit card she could try to dispute the charges. Otherwise, the money is almost certainly gone for good.

When did this occur? I saw a report that the state of Florida had raided and shut down the office of Resort Sales Group in Orlando in mid-January.
