Does anyone know the difference between a one bedroom presidential unit and a one bedroom presidential reserve suite? Is the location of one better than the other? Floor plan? Furnishings?

Thanks,
Mary

Not sure on this resort specifically, but in general I think PR and Pres rooms are physically the same or very similar. The distinction is how they are handled in inventory. PR units are Presidential units that are held for PR owners for a longer period, or to book at in an earlier ARP window (14 months I think).

Chris is right... generally they are the same, just held out for PR members to reserve until the last 30 days.

I think at a couple of resorts, there are minor differences. The only major one I recall there being a significant difference at was in Hawaii, where certain Presidential reserve units had A/C.

We had a 2BR Presidential and a 1BR at Midtown 45 recently. Ask for a room facing the street and corner, our 1BR faced another building and was very dark. But the 2BR was on the corner and had a great view and lots of light.

The reason I was asking is that at the Wyndham Canterbury in San Francisco we prefer the 2 bedroom presidential units over the 2 bedroom presidential reserve ones. The 2 bedroom presidential units are on the 10th floor with a terrific view. The 2 bedroom presidential reserve units are in the Whitehall building on the first floor.
