168,000 Wyndham Plus Points

[2 contracts of 84,000 points each.]

Wyndham Kingsgate (Williamsburg, VA) is the home resort. Plus Points can be used for any Wyndham resort, any time.

Vacation year is July 1st to June 30th. All 168,000 points are available to June 30, 2014 (considered use year 2014 by Wyndham).

MF = $75.39/ month, $904.76 total annual (calendar year) beginning January, 2014.

Mortgage is paid in full.

Closing can be done through Legal Timeshare Transfer for around $125. Resort Transfer Fee is $299.

Buyer to pay closing, transfer fee and remaining monthly 2014 maintenance fees after transfer.

I have had these points for a very long time. Sent both my children on their honeymoons with these points, one to the US Virgin Islands, one to Myrtle Beach. Personal circumstances prevent me from being able to use them now.

Please pm or email me.

Thanks!
Mary

I would only want one of the contracts. Would that be of any interest to you?

You might want to consider TAKING BOTH of these contracts as:
>>168,000 points is not even a 2 bdr unit in Prime season at most of the NEW Wyndham resorts.
>>Most of the management fees have a minimum number per membership - you would be paying the SAME Program fee if you took one or both.
>>Your would only get 1 Reservation transaction for the one contract (every 77,000 pts gets an RT) ... you will pay for the 2nd one every year (like to deposit leftover points in RCI) or to make 2 reservations at different times of the year.

My apologies for being "off grid" lately. Spending time with my granddaughter. :)

I have had a question about the 2 contracts and the transfer fee that may be involved. Wyndham had told me it would be $299 for the transfer of both together (as one transaction) but I will get clarification and post that tomorrow.

Thank you!! Mary

I've called both Wyndham and York County, VA.

There are 2 deeds, one for each contract. I will have copies of the deeds within a week.

Wyndham will charge a transfer fee per deed so the total transfer fee would be $598 for the 168,000 points.

I've tried calling Legal Timeshare Transfers and can not get through. I sent them an email asking how they would handle 2 deeds for one buyer and how much that fee would be. I'll post that when I hear from them.

Based on what I've learned, I will pay one of the transfer fees for all 168,000 points, $299. :cheer:

Sorry, I can't edit my 1st post to reflect that.

Again, please PM or email me if you need further information.

Thanks!

Received an email from Legal Timeshare Transfers. First thing to note is that their base fee is going up effective January 1st.
We charge $95* to prepare each of the documents needed to transfer your Virginia timeshare plus postage (7.00) & county recording fees -- these normally run around $45 for most VA transfers.

* As of January 1, 2014, our fee increases to $$125

Their fee would be about $147 for each deed this month. It goes to about $177 in January. For the total 168,000 points (2 contracts) it would be about $294 in December, this month, and about $354 in January. For 84,000 points (1 contract), the fee would be about $147 in December and about $177 in January.

Sorry, I can not afford to cover any of these fees. Again, please PM or email me if you need further information.

Thank you!
Mary
