I'm seeing eBay listings for decent looking contracts, but included in the regular listing is a chance to get another timeshare for 'free' closing costs and all.

Is this usually a push for typically unwanted timeshares?

Yes. It's a push for less desirable timeshares. It's possible they may have something that works for you.

That is probably the same guy that has listed in the bargain forum. You really don't have to buy a timeshare to get another for free. They will give you as many as you want.

I have used this feature before and it work well because either the transfer company cost was real cheap or it was included so I saved several hundred $.s
Volume companies really want to specialize in the popular newer resorts so
anything else is a liability for them or perhaps something an owner has paid them
to get rid of. In either event, in my eyes I enjoy my found vacation, but choose
carefully.
