2 Bedroom Sheraton Vistana Falls

Unit 0228 fixed week 49. Falls Section Sleeps 6. Big king bed in master and twins in 2nd bedroom.

This is the same unit every year, every week. Second story of two story building. 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Washer/Dryer, view of man made lake.

2015 use is not included. It was traded into Interval International.

First use for new owner will be 2016.

No mortgage and fees are up to date. No money will be due until end of year for 2016 use.

Free except any transfer fee (I think they charge $25) and if you want to do escrow (LT transfers?) you pay the fee.

Trades well in II and Starwood is great to deal with.

If we did not live on the west coast we would keep it as that is a fantastic time to go to Disney World. No crowds and all of the Christmas stuff is up.

PM me if you need more info or are interested.

There is no escrow with a free timeshare, (escrow is a secure way of holding the funds) but there is a title transfer (new deed) that needs to be legally prepared, and it has to be sent to the county recording office, and Starwood.

I just did an SVR transfer with LT Transfers and it was about $160 total. They handled the whole thing from the purchase agreement to sending the registered deed to the resort.

Thanks as always, Denise!

Yes, it is important to all to make sure the title gets transferred properly.

Everyone seems to be happy with LT transfers and the price looks right.

Also, I had the question of how much the maintenance fees are: for 2015 they were $883.14

2015 fees are paid in full and was $883.14.

Reason first use is not until 2016 is that 2015 was traded into Interval International.

It traded for a week this September at the Westin Ka'anapali North in Maui (hadn't really expected it to trade so fast, within a few days, but I am happy to do Maui again!)

Since Starwood allows you to deposit early, the new owner could deposit 2016's week as soon as it is transferred and you pay 2016's fees (they do automatic reservations two years in advance for fixed weeks). Then you can do priority trading Starwood to Starwood in II.

2016's dues have been paid now ($907.28).

Have not deposited the 2016 use into Interval International yet, though the week in Maui was fantastic, as always, and it is really tempting..........

PM with offers/suggestions.

Thanks,
Lorrie

lm1234 - You have a lot of time to deposit this week with II. If you are serious about giving it away, I would not deposit it now, because it will be a lot less attractive if people have to wait until the end of 2017 to use it.

Nah, just kidding!

No, as tempting as it would be to enjoy beautiful Maui again, we won't deposit it just yet.

The "new" owner might want use it or trade it themselves.

We also have 64 RCI weeks points to use up in the next few years, so....... not a good plan. :)

Thanks for all you do for us Tuggers, Denise!
