Apparently, they are use the VSE name at the resorts:

Other than promotional material - nothing labeled VSE here at WSJ.
VSE on sign looks photoshopped - they make it clear that Westin and Sheraton Vacation Clubs are what is being sold - not VSE. Sales does not like VSE branding either.

DM - can you remind me how to post Images w/o using something like PhotoBucket (like I would normally use)?

Dave - You must use a site like photobucket to host the photos, and then post an IMG link in your post.

I would be shocked if Redweek falsified a photo.

That's really strange - the article said they visited the resort. Maybe it is an "artist's rendering," provided by the resort of their future sign?

No, it looks like a digital sign, as the earlier post indicated. In other words, it's likely temporary.

By "digital signage" they mean the image on the sign is created digitally with LED or LCD. (Like highway billboards that can be changed.)

Are they still showing that image at Vistana Resort on the digital sign? They may have only had it up for that first day?

We were there when the merger/takeover was completed and they didn't change the sign to VSE until after we left. But, no idea if it still reads that way or not.

Damn - having PB issues - now home, maybe can use now.
Thought altered image to make point of article.
Besides it is at a Vistana resort... no way others (non FLA) are promoting VSE - they (sales folk) are not happy - heard this a few times.

It is Westin Vacation Club (or Sheraton VC) being pushed. VSE is understated on promotional material.

Here's a useful trick - right click on an image you want to post, select Copy Image Address, and paste that in the IMG tag, like so:

Which would result in this:

Caveat: If the web site changes the image location, or removes it, your image link will break.

That works for images that are already posted on the web, but not for images on your computer or phone or camera - they have to be hosted somewhere.
