Anyone going to Aruba soon?

We stay at the Marriott Ocean Club. I am looking for someone from the PA/NJ/MD/NY area who is going to Aruba soon on American or Delta. We are adopting a dog from Aruba and need someone who will bring the dog back with them. The dog has to go in cargo because she is full grown. Only Delta and American will transport adult dogs. We pay all the expenses. The dog will be brought to the airport by the rescue, ARF-Aruba, and we will meet you at your arrival airport so there is nothing you will need to do other than have the dog's info. connected with your return ticket. I read your thread and it makes me feel great that you are taking a dog from Aruba. Been there a few times and I know there is a stray dog problem on the island.

I would encourage anyone who meets the requirements of this poster to take on this task. You will be performing a great act of kindness.

I'm booked to go May 16 for 4-5 nights haven't booked airfare yet but will be flying out of Newark airport. Is this too far out?

There is a private Yahoo group for owners of Divi timeshares. Since several are in Aruba, there are lots of Aruba travelers as members. You might see if you can post this there. You have to request membership, but hopefully the moderator will let you post, or perhaps even be willing to post for you.

Love that you are adopting an ARF pup! Be sure to post pics when you get him home. Wish we were traveling back to your area so we could assist. May want to post this on the Aruba.com forum as well. Get the word out in as many places as possible. Good luck!

I have shipped my animals via air before without an owner or responsible party being on the flight. Maybe since its international its different?? Best of luck with your new friend.
