extra Marriott Destinations points

We recently enrolled in the destinations program and got the 800 bonus pts. We were hoping to use these points to tac on a few extra days on top of the week we had confirmed... but we are 25 pts short. We asked if we could pay for the extra pts, but they said the only option was to exchange next year's week for destinations points - not worth it. They said the other option was to get someone we know to transfer points over to us. We don't know anyone else who's a Marriot owner :( So, does anyone have any destinations points that they are unable to use and want to offload? Of course we will pay you for it. Thanks. :)

Unfortunately, Marriott won't let Bonus Points be transferred, so unfortunately DXC will need to find someone who has points to transfer. I've sent DXC a link to a website where we are trying to get points rentals going.

Thanks Greg. Yes, I now remember reading about that. Too bad, as I have about 50 bonus points remaining that I won't use.
