I have read several posts that mention a points chart for the new system. Is there one somewhere?

They are available at your my-vacationclub.com page if you begin the enrollment process (must log in and check "enroll now" but doing that will not automatically enroll you.) The page which gives you your point allotments for the week(s) you own will have links at the bottom - the points chart is one link.

{edited} Also, TUGger Davidvel is hosting the points charts; see his Post #6 below.

Thanks Susan! Yes, please note it is being hosted on a new site.

Also, for those not aware, this chart shows what it costs in points to GET a week. The amount of points Marriott gives you for your week is different (and must be determined by starting the enrollment process). Some are more, some are less. I get more than it costs to trade in (2325 vs. 1950), but ymmv (I'm still not joining).

Thank you for the first solid information

Thank you SO much for posting these links.

Like so many others, we've received no official information from Marriott as yet and when you consider our investment as a multi-week owner, this is shameful.

I am so glad to get the FACTS, and now will plod through all the details and know I am looking at the reality of the next phase of Marriott vacation club sales. I wish it weren't so, and hugely disappointed in Marriott, but am appreciative of finally getting the facts.

How sad that so many years of Marriott building corporate goodwill could be shattered by not keeping their "family" informed as to a significant change, and the financial consequences to our investment. Sure we were told, this is "not an investment", but when a person buys a piece of diamond jewelry ("not an investment"?) they don't expect the jeweler to come back and chisel away at the diamond after the sale.

Yeah, I looked at what Marriott would give me for my 2 bdrm M/G view and what it would cost me to go during Jan/Feb, the time of year we enjoy traveling somewhere warm, and I would not have enough points for my entire unit

TO paulaf52:

I tried to PM you but was unable:

Now that I have posted the direct links to the new program docs, I am trying to clean up the old links to my personal website (to reduce traffic ). Could you edit your post#4 in this thread to remove the link to my webpage?

Thanks,

David

In the points guide, next to each resort name is a black block with an E in it and some also have a black block with a T. I can't find an explanation as to what these signify in the guide. Does anyone know?

Apparently the ones with a T are part of the trust, and the one with only an E are not. Though this doesn't make sense as Grande Vista is part of the trust but doesn't have a T on the points chart.
