Problem getting promised Bonus Points

When I purchased MVC I was promised 1500 one time use incentive points. The salesman "whispered" that the associate had said 1500?but it was really only supposed to be 750 but a deal was a deal and he'd honor the 1500, but at different times because they came out of 2 different pots. Well I got the 750 immediately and now 7 months later have still not gotten the other pot's points. MVC said they would research it and get back to me. They didn't. The salesman doesn't answer emails though I have some from the previous 7 months where he says they are coming.

Any guesses on if I'm screwed?

If you haven't already you should get Customer Advocacy involved. This is the email address they've provided: customer.care@vacationclub.com

If they're involved and not receptive, I'd contact Brian E. Miller, Executive Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer through the executive offices:
Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corp.
6649 Westwood Blvd., Suite 500
Orlando, FL 32821
United States of America
P: 407-206-6000

If you have to go to that length for resolution, make sure to mention how long you've been dealing with this issue and the fact that you've already made contact through the customer.care portal. Good luck!

What does the paperwork say?

OP says she has emails from the salesman that say the added bonus Points "are coming." That's enough (IMO) to demand them.

Thank you for the address to escalate the issue.

We have paperwork from the purchase saying 2 deposits of 750 points each. Plus the emails. Early in the process a rep on the phone investigated and confirmed we were still due 750 and said she would note it. Now 7 months later the reps don't seem to be able to "see" that any longer.

I'm mad. We had counted on the points for an upcoming trip.

That being the case, I would imagine Customer Care will take care of this pretty quickly.

Let them know that you made the purchase decision solely because of the promised 1500 Bonus Points. If they can't perform what they promised then ask for your money back in full.

Watch those missing 750 Bonus Points suddenly hit your account!

Susan, thank you for the contact information. I received a very quick and thorough reply from that office saying the sales center had been contacted and she would insure the points were promptly added to my account.

I hope it is resolved for you at this point. I just don't trust anyone until I see that the action has been taken.

We had a problem ~4 or 5 years ago (the bonus was 75$ toward our maintenance fees, without which we were deemed late payers) where we were told more than once that the issue was resolved, but it took 8 phone calls over 4 months to get it resolved.

The answer is sort of. I did receive a deposit of the points, but they expire within the year. It is not the Points Plus Purchase Incentive that it was supposed to be. I am still working on it.
