**Reminder** Time to check for Summer availability via RCI Points

For those wanting to travel during June, July & August via RCI, now is the time to start your manual RCI searches for summer 2014 vacations. I've posted some RCI Points availability on the TUG sighting board

As of today (9/29), you can see RCI Points availability through July 29 (check-in date)

I'd like to stretch our points via RCI....have an ongoing search for HHV, but never seen anything come through yet. I know you can't give details of what is on the TUG sightings board, but have you seen any availability of HHV during the summers? If so, this may be my incentive to join TUG again. I think the last time we joined TUG was while we researched buying resales...but didn't fully explore the site, and didn't know about the TUG sightings board.

Yes, there is HHV summer availability in RCI but it is very unlikely that you'll be able to book HHV via RCI using your HGVC points.

HGVC normally does a bulk deposit at HHV with check-in dates more than 9 months in advance.
Currently, a HGVC restriction prevents owners from booking a Hilton developed resort more than 9 months from the check-in date. For more info regarding the restriction see this old thread - http://www.tugbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=130546

Here are some of the past Hilton Hawaiian Village (HHV) bulk sightings on TUG. To get an idea when these weeks become available, take a look at the date the sighting was posted compared to the date available for exchange (NOTE: Must be logged in as a TUG member to view links).

Just my two cents regarding TUG membership.......
This site has been invaluable to many of us. Many of us have saved hundreds to thousands of dollars because of TUG. Many of us have learn to maximize our ownership and avoid the pitfalls. So paying a mere $15/year for membership is a drop in the bucket for everything this site provides. By becoming a paid member, you're showing your support for the TUG community as well
