First, I am not sure if this is the right place to ask or if it is even permitted to ask.

We were at Wyndham in Williamsburg, VA, took the "survey" for a free week at "any" Wyndham resort. Turns out that "any" was extremely inaccurate. We were given a Resort Certificate. Based on our current vacation plans, we are not going to be able to use the certificate. It expires July 2017.

My question is whether I can book a vacation for someone else with it or sell the certificate to someone that can use it?

I'm not sure if someone will buy it, but I think it's transferable. What does the fine print say?

Is it a resortcerts.com one? There are a lot of limits on what can be done with it. People do sell them but they don't go for much. One just sold on eBay for $100 but it had more time left to be used. I myself like them, great for last minute vacations if you are not picky on where you end up.
