Wyndham Access Points or Home Resort

If I am buying resale--- is it better to buy Access Points or Points from a Home Resort?
What is the difference?

There are two reasons to buy on resort or club Wyndham Access over another

1) ARP
2) maintenance fees

Club Access is about average on MFs. The only advantage to Club Access is it gives you ARP at several resorts instead of your home resort.

Depending on which resort you own at the maintenance fees can be lower with Club Wyndham Plus deeded points. Take a look at the sticky that lists the maintenance fees at a lot of the resorts to make your own comparisons.

What will work best for you depends on how you will be using the points and how far in advance you will be making most of your reservations.
