My husband and I are planning to visit Williamsburg this August. Probably it will just be the two of us. Which Williamsburg resorts (preferably in RCI) have the best 1br units?

We own at King's Creek Cottages, and the 1brs there are very small. Wyndham Kingsgate 1brs hadn't been renovated a few years ago, last time we visited. We stayed at Colonial Crossings years ago and the 1br was huge and nice, but they're not in RCI.

Any advice for us? Thanks!

What about the new BlueGreen Resort or the new Holiday Inn Resort in Williamsburg?

Thanks! We've stayed at Patrick Henry (the Bluegreen one) and though the location was dreamy, the unit was really dark--so dark that it was depressing. I think the Holiday Inn Resort is what used to be Colonial Crossings, and I haven't seen it on RCI.

You say "preferably" in RCI. I can't help you with that, but if RCI is not an absolute requirement, I suggest Marriott's Manor Club. The Sequel section has lockoffs so 1BRs are available there.

Thanks! We're pretty set with RCI. We live in the Northeast and mostly go to driving vacations, and RCI has tons more within driving distance. But I'll keep an eye out for maybe a rental at one of the Williamsburg Marriotts.
