Which is the more premium resort (5-star level room and amenity wise)? Traveling with 2 kids ages 6 & 8.

I know Azul Fives is AI and Grand Luxxe is not.

For Grand Luxxe are the a la carte restaurants reasonably priced?

Thanks.

I've never been to Azul Fives, but the Grand Luxxe is incredible. There are activity pools at the GM and as a GL guest you may use them. There is a beach club just for GL and Bliss guests. The restaurants are varied and they all have children's menus. There are different levels of restaurants from moderate to sort of expensive. Not outrageous. I am not a proponent of AI. I'd go to the GL in a heartbeat. I actually just exchanged into there for 2019.

I didn't realize that there is a difference between GB and B. I've only stayed in the GL 5 times. The beach club is for guests too but only if they are at the GL or GB.

Bliss is basically a Mayan Palace ( same sq. footage ) with a different style interior look ( soft furnishings ) . As of 2017 the only Bliss buildings are located at Vidanta's Riviera Maya property .
Bliss units are smaller / lower MF than Grand Mayan . Vitanta sold enough contracts that they needed to build some units

Grand Bliss is above Grand Mayan and can be exchanged via RCI . ( Grand Luxe exchanges through II )
Currently Grand Bliss has units in NV & RM .

(As of 2017 PV - Marina has a Grand Bliss model for a future GB building at that Vidanta location.)

If and when they build that Grand Bliss in the marina across from the MP, it will become a magnet for those who don't want to be "stuck" or isolated at the Vidanta complex in NV.
