Good morning! Anyone have any recommendations for travel locations in the last half of August climate-wise? For example, this year in August I cruised to Belize and Honduras-90 degrees, 90% humidity ugh. No children travelling, and no interest in travelling to Europe at this time. California is off my list as well (I'm already there!). Thank you in advance for your expert advice!!

Aruba! It will be hot but low/no humidity with constant tradewinds and no rain :)

Pacific NW. There will be a solar eclipse on Aug 21. I think getting a round m anywhere within the line of totality will be difficult and or expensive.

I'd go north. What about Banff?

Aruba is on my list, but I never would have thought August would be a good time to travel there. Thank you!

I would love to visit Iceland, but I only have one week. That sounds like a 2-4 week vacation. Thanks for the idea however!

I've heard Banff is beautiful, as is the Pacific Northwest. I have never been up that direction but I'll bet August is perfect up there. I am actually going to Alaska this August-I am planning for an II ongoing search for 2018. Gotta think ahead! All great ideas-thank you!

Was in Alaska the first week of August years ago. The weather was great- drops down like into the 20's and 30's at night but then could go all the way up to 80 in the daytime in some areas.

Wow that is quite a temp difference. I better pack everything I own! Thank you-I'm really looking forward to it. It will be totally different than my usual Caribbean beach vacation.
