Reading through the forum, I have often seen reference to an additional $30 added to the maintenance fees for those owing EOY Vistana weeks. Looking at this thread, I am not seeing it. The annual fee for SVV Key West is $597.17 where the EOY fee is $298.59. That is exactly half. I own an EOY week at SVV Key West and don't see an extra add on fee of $30. Does this not apply to all properties?

For SDO, it has been reported that Vistana adds $30 MF to EOY weeks. Maybe it has to do with mandatory vs. voluntary resort - just guessing...

A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
Some resorts have it set up that way while others do not. Maybe an oruginal Vistana thing. Sheraton Broadway plantation has it but SBP -palmetto phase does not

i used all my 148k points for Lagunamar (home resort is Kierland). Booked my bro in law for 1 night (they used theirs for the remainder) my inlaws for 7 nights bedroom. And for ourselves we booked 6 nights 1bed premium and got charged $30 fee. Not sure why.

We own every year.

I think this is the housekeeping fee for making multiple reservations with your StarOptions?

Yes. $30 is for housekeeping. They don't always get it right in tracking if any housekeeping credits are left. It is to my understanding that a 2BR lockout should get 2 housekeeping if booked separately. I used up x numbers of SOs for a week in a 1BR and then used the remaining smaller amount in another place for a few nights. Online booking showed that I would be charged $30 in housekeping. When I stayed at the resort, I was not charged the $30.
