How does that hurt my exchange opportunities?

Scenario: I have a reserved 2017 week at MFC, week 13, platinum, highest demand, that we no longer want to use. In an earlier post, I asked about changing weeks but now we've decided to go elsewhere instead and want to see how this might affect our exchanging options.

I think you are on the cusp of impacting your trade power. I did a trade power experiment with MOC weeks and found that trade power held up for months 4-12 before check-in, but at about 3.5 months from check-in, the trade power began to decline, and then declined again right at 61 days before check-in. So if you deposit now, I think it will have good trading power.

But that's a great week -- have you considered renting it?
