I was confirmed into a one bedroom with the Code L2S1B for a prime ski week in Park City. Does anyone know if this is the 750 square feet one bedroom or the smaller unit. I'm debating cancelling the exchange if it's the smaller unit. Thanks.

I stayed there once. I do not know about the bigger or smaller 1 br size. but I do know that while we stayed there, the internet almost like not working at all. Since then, we avoid that resort completely.

Since II has a memo that it doesn't have to honor the specific unit, I wouldn't be surprised if Westgate put you in the smaller unit, with the worst location possible regardless of the unit deposited. They only have to honor the listed size, and occupancy/privacy parameters, and kitchen type in your confirmation.

I cancelled within 24 hours. I didn't want to risk getting a very small one bedroom unit. It was for week 8 in 2019.

I'm going to try for a Marriott in Park City using a platinum Marriott 1 bedroom week.

The Westgate did look tempting but I have read too much here about that system.

I have never stayed at Westgate Park City- but when I stayed at Westgate Smokey Mountain I was given an awesome mountain view 1BR with a jacuzzi tub instead of the studio that I was expecting.

While I would certainly NEVER EVER EVER own at Westgate, I will stay at their nicer resorts if a good option presents itself.

The Westgate in Park City is a very nice resort as long as you can avoid being sucked into a sales presentation. Either of the Marriotts are much better to me as the Westgate is way out of town and most everything in the village closes shortly after the lifts.
