BEWARE- Do not fall for this scam

(VEI) Vacation Experts International based in Sevierville Tennessee, USA is scam

They take your money then when you try to cancel the contract within the specified 21 day time frame they give you a small print technical reason for not issuing you a refund. they say you must call their 800 Phone # and that you must send certified letter.. claiming you must do both of these.... even though I emailed them 3 times and called twice they said that was not following procedure.. my bank sees it otherwise (thank God).

Caution

my bank sees it otherwise (thank God).

If I'm interpreting this correctly, I'm assuming that the bank or your credit card company was able to get you a refund before VEI made off with your money. Hopefully I'm right about this. If so, then you are now well armed to avoid falling for any further TS-related scams which abound out there.

If you are wondering what to do with your TS or how to sell it without getting scammed, I suggest you read the stickies in these forums which give great advice on how to avoid the many scams and shady operations out there.
