This is an old thread, and I was curious to know who owns Timeshare Nation and if it's another Uri Fried venture, under a new name but the same kind of thing. It looks hauntingly familiar. Maybe it's Sumday Vacations. They somehow got caught doing something, but I cannot remember what exactly they did. They seemed like an okay company, but they did gyp me out of usage of an SBP week or two that promised usage in the ebay ad, then they put in the contract that usage is not guaranteed. No kidding, it was definiely not guaranteed, I didn't get the free use at all, but I was glad to get the weeks free, anyway.
Clem Swan sold me a Willow Ridge week (Marriott) and promised use for 2022, and it was supposed to be included in my negotiated price. I way overpaid for that week with the understanding I would have 2022 use, but a call to Marriott discovered that the owner used it way before Clem promised it to me.
I ironically checked the recorded deed for my recent purchase of an SBP week and saw the Fried name on a couple of my deeds for SBP. If only Uri Fried and his son Brandon would have known that some of us are paying actual money for these weeks! I was able to get 3 weeks from Brandon Fried for free with usage included for that particular use year, which I believe was 2011. Fast forward, and SBP is up in price and only because Disney went back to II (I think that is the reason).
Anyway, sorry to bring this one back to the top. It's dejavu all over again.
