Given that this tour open tomorrow in Vancouver...... Is anyone going to see this tour.

I was at the original tour back in 1987, so I am looking forward this anniversary tour.

Anyone else?

Some of my favorite U2 lines....
Every artist is a cannibal, every poet is a thief
All kill their inspiration and sing about their grief

The Fly, Achtung Baby

You got to cry without weeping
Talk without speaking
Scream without raising your voice

Running to Stand Still, The Unforgettable Fire

My hands are tied
My body bruised, she's got me with
Nothing to win and
Nothing left to lose

With or Without You, Joshua Tree

Thought about it... We're into "Geezer Rock" concerts.

I do remember a lot of kids at my high school wearing their Joshua Tree Tour T-shirts essentially advertising that they went to that concert.

I saw them back in '09. As good as they are, I don't think I will be paying $200 to see another concert.

WOW! 30 years? Already?

I went to several of those concerts with my R&R best buddy - Joe C. Multiple U2 & Springteen concerts. And throw in a couple of Greatful Dead concerts.

And general admission under $100 .... even for that price, I am sure I will NOT feel 30 years younger. But if I still had the 944 Porsche ... I might feel I was decades younger.

And no selfies back then ... just great vibes and memories ... and I am sticking to that.

I went to a Jefferson Star Ship w/ Grace Slick concert in chapel hill NC, walked up and paid 10 bucks, worked my way up front, had at least 10 joints passed to and by me while there. the bass player Paul Kantner, who died in 2016 did a solo that was earth moving. When i heard he died I was very sad but glad to have seen him play in person so many years ago..

The cost of concerts nowaday is crazy expensive, with tickets, handling fee's, parking, drinks etc.. not hard to drop 500 buck for 2 people. would love to go to good concert but dont want to spend all the money.

I have ya'll beat...I saw Gladys Knight at a high school dance! Yes it's true...I'm that old! I've seen so many concerts...U2 yes, in 1987 and so so many other shows. I can't afford it now, and hearing my brother say he paid over $300 to see Dylan I said "no way". Having said that, I do still catch some great shows, if the price is right. I don't like big arena shows (last one was Shakira, who is/was great). I love watching concerts on tv on AXS and for now...in my old age...that will have to do! Just love U2 though...those guys still have it though I prefer their first two albums to any other!
