I have been reading posts on this Wyndham group thread going back 3+ years. This message is to the 6-10 folks who have been participating here for a long time. First, I would like to apologize for asking questions that I now see you have answered over and over many times... Thank you for taking the trouble and showing the patience you have!! Second, I highly suggest other newbies such as myself go back to at least 2013 and read these old posts. They are extremely informative, give great vacation ideas and strategies, in depth resort descriptions and comparisons, will help bring you up to date, and most important, are in many instances HILARIOUS!!! I have thoroughly enjoyed the various senses of humor i have found here.

Good idea, but one caution: the rules of the system have changed over that time, and so some strategies that used to work (e.g. Book-cancel-deposit with pool credits) no longer do. So, be sure you know the *current* rules as well.

Definitely, thanks for the heads up!!! But to be honest, I am now reading all of these old posts for the wit and great senses of humor. There are some really sad stories too... I can't imagine finding out about TUG after the rescission date of a developer purchased contract... What is great is that even those who purchased from the developer seem to be generally happy with their Wyndham vacations..

Well, drinking helps! If only Al Gore had invented the internet a couple of years sooner

But yes, generally happy...once I got past the sunk costs. Truthfully, I haven't had a bad experience with Wyndham in years. Of course, I'm small potatoes.
