The Firefly restaurant!

We spent a week late last August in PCB while my husband was working in the area and on expense account. We made and ate breakfast and lunch in our unit but no way were we cooking dinner in since we only had to pay for my meal. We ate at the Firefly every night but one and the night we tried another highly recommended restaurant we were very disappointed. We tried every meal on the sunset menu except the roasted chicken and thoroughly enjoyed them all. The cajun pasta is a very large portion but yellowfin tuna is a smaller portion. The cajun pasta wouldn't normally be my thing but I tried some of my husband's meal because he liked it so much and kept urging me to try it. I have to say that it was very good. My husband isn't big on beef but after tasting my meal he ordered the beef tenderloin medallions for himself the next night. We both loved the crab cakes. We also loved the she crab soup; it was worth the $2 upgrade. Another upgrade that was available when we were there and so worth it was $5 to upgrade to the hydroponic butter lettuce with strawberries, goat cheese, warm butter pecan dressing. When we eat out and have a choice of soup or salad, one of us usually orders the soup, the other the salad and we share.

Our first night in PCB we got in late and had two of the rolls off the sushi menu in the bar at the Firefly. They are known in the area for their sushi menu and sushi chef. Sorry if sushi chef isn't the correct term. We really enjoy trying new things but don't have much experience with sushi. Both were very good and we enjoyed watching them be prepared in front of us. I remember that one of the rolls was the Devil's Advocate but don't remember what the other one was.
