I just posted an exchange ad here on TUG that proposes this swap. I am an HICV owner and can add weeks-only resort deeds to my HICV account for which I will receive an equivalent amount of HICV points via the HICV GlobalChoice program.
My question is how do I value non-points RCI weeks to get a comparable swap?
My deed is at VV@Parkway, a 2BR EOY which gives us 74000 RCI points every odd year.
Any hints/tips/advice welcome and appreciated.

Are you proposing trading your HICV deed for a different resort? That's likely to be quite a long shot to find someone with something you want that wants your VV deed in return.

No.
I propose to trade the VV@P deed for a weeks-only RCI deed.
Sorry for the confusion.
And, yes, I appreciate that this may be a longshot, but I am a horse player so ... ;)

Given that VV sells on eBay for $1, you're probably better off trying to get rid of it and buying what you want.

In RCI Points 74,000 is a good number and I believe, the MFs are under $750-800 yearly? That would make a decent point to MF ratio.

RCI points have different booking windows: HOME WEEK is 13 months before checkin and no cost; HOME RESORT is 12 month before checkin (my RCI Points Home Week booking fee is $40) and HOME GROUP is at the 11 month out mark.

So if someone is trying to do an extend winter stay and are happy with the small side of a lockout unit ... that could turn into 2 weeks in Florida for cost of MFs and $100 or less.

I'm leaning this way. Thanks for the push. HICV will rent me points on a one-use basis for $5 per 1000 (equivalent to $10 per 1K in RCI points, a little more than my points/MF ratio is now but with cheaper booking and membership costs) so it's easier for me to do that if I need more. Right now we have enough points for 3 months in, say, Orlando or Panama City with a bit left over for a weekend here or there. I was looking to simplify our accounting and divesting the VV@P unit would certainly do that.
