How do they know who has paid the Smuggs Pass? Is it a bracelet? My understanding is that the fee is suppose to cover everyone in your unit. What if part of your party arrives later in the week?

Yes, it is a bracelet. The charge is per unit per week (and not per person), so it does not matter if part of your party arrives later in the week (you can obtain bracelets for them at check in). Even if the unit sleeps 6 and you have 8 in your party, you can ask for 8 bracelets.

How does the pass work? Can you stay at Smuggs without paying it, and if so, what amenities do you give up? Are the prices listed anywhere? (I'm mostly interested in ski weeks.)

Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can stay there with out paying it but you would not be able to use everything. Like in the summer you would not have access to ALL of the pools and water slides only to some of them.

Here is some info on the winter bene's http://www.smuggs.com/pages/winter/rci/winterBenefits.php
