What if it's not one of those ? It's one in Florida .
I'm keeping my Wyndham.
Bought a bunch of different timeshares from developers when kids were young .
We don't need as many now .
I needed specifics on companies I could trust that do these transactions.
How do I start this process ? Whom do I consult ? What's required of me , etc

Thx . That's exactly what I did before I started this thread !
Was overwhelming!
I guess the advice I was seeking was more concrete ...... if u know what I mean .
I liked what the above said about steps to take to prevent scams etc but couldn't quite tell which outfit/ group of professionals is reliable and doesn't charge a fortune .
I understand that though I paid thousands , the resale is lower . So I didn't want to incur unnecessary added expenses / fees .
Sorry to elaborate but it's kinda scary to randomly choose without recommendations of groups that do a good job .

Most timeshares are worthless so be prepared for reality. Many you have to be willing to give away. That said, there are some that have value. I would start with Redweek and look at the lowest prices for the property and unit type you have. That will give you an idea on value provided there is enough of a sample size for an estimate.

the suggestions in the how to sell guide and the other linked above suggest the DIY approach...thus you wont really find any suggestions to use 3rd party companies...you can sell/give away your timeshare yourself and save a fortune doing it...this seems like what you are looking for since you mention you dont want to incur any unnecessary costs.

I don't mind paying a reasonable fee but they vary across the board.........
Anything within reason is always an option to consider .
Thx again .

To sell or give away your timeshare, and before I would use a broker, I would first begin this process by listing the timeshare on the tug marketplace and bargain forums by myself. It's free..... Does your timeshare have value?

Sometimes I wonder if I should just keep it rather than lose thousands that I paid for it.
I can continue trading on the Intervall platform.
After reading through several posts, appears that it can be time consuming W the paperwork involved etc .
Thx for the suggestion

People might be able to offer more specific and useful suggestions if they knew what property you are talking about.

I don't know your resort at all, but it does not seem that you want to invest much time or effort to try to sell your interval on your own (I am assuming for the sake of discussion that it actually has any resale value in the first place --- I personally do not claim to know).

Given your apparent approach / position, you might consider contacting a LTRBA broker in FL who charges fee / commission only upon sale.
You indicated seeking specificity; I have personally met and would recommend Tom Tubbs at Island Consulting Realty in Sarasota, FL. Nice guy, completely honest --- and if your interval actually has no resale value, he will simply tell you so.

For the record, I have no affiliation with Tom Tubbs or his business or with LTRBA, but I nonetheless respect their honesty and their approach.
Seems to me at least an option worth considering if you are otherwise unwilling to expend any time or effort on your own.

If you are too busy to screw with it and want something quick and dirty, try calling the Resort and see if they will do a Deed Back. If they resist, offer them $500 or $1,000. if they agree to a Deed Back, all you will have to do is sign their agreement and possibly write a check.
