I am selling my florida timeshare for $1, looking for someone to prepare the docs and record the deed, no escrow needed. Any recommendations? I have tried to contact TimeTravel Traders because many had good experiences with them, but not sure if they can do a Florida timeshare or not, and they have not gotten back to me for a couple days now. Trying to save money because I found out Mystic Dunes charges $250 to transfer ownership!

In a nutshell - a broker is not going to list a timeshare with no resale value, because it's not profitable for them.

The upfront fee companies have no intention of actually selling your timeshare - they don't need to - because they get their fee upfront.

Your best bet is to give it away yourself. Here's how - http://tugbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=132509

If you find someone to take the TS, I'd suggest you just do the deed and recording yourself. In most states you can just re-type the deed verbatim from the one you have changing the names, then mail it to the county recorder with the recording fee, and when it comes back send a copy to the resort management with the transfer fee. No reason to pay $100 - $250 for this.

readylegal@gmail.com can handle that for you. Her fees are around $125 to draft, record and notify the resort. Give her a try,

Greg
