Nah, John, you are right about them.
I was so disgusted while talking to them. They charge huge fees, and they say they are the lowest in the industry. What industry? "The upfront fee, we will put your ad on our [obscure website]," industry? Yes, they do come up on Google searches, but I read ads for one of our resorts, and many of them have the wrong MF's (some from four years ago), and one for sale ad says, "Use in 2009." We are a little past 2009.
Basically they put your listing on the site and nothing gets modified. It's ridiculous.
I made a few inquiries of ads and got the message that this is no longer available.
I kind of think they don't necessarily care about matching a buyer/ renter to your ad. After all, their biz is in upfront fees, and they have THEIR money.
There is absolutely no guidance for pricing the week, so they say, "Set your price." Well, just look at some of the resorts. The set your price scenario isn't working well. The range of prices is all over the place.
