I was wondering if anyone could provide some guidance for my situation.

I bought a resale contract for Bonnet Creek of 126000 points with usage ability on even years. I bought the contract off eBay in June. The eBay ad indicated that 126000 points were available for use this year as it is an even use year. The closing went smoothly and I received a letter in September from Wyndham welcoming me.

After I signed up for online access i checked my points and it only showed a balance of 20080. I tcalled he resale company and they said they would take care of it. To date it is still an issue. Wyndham keeps telling the resale company that they will research it and fix it. This has been going on since September.

Does anyone have advice on how to handle this? Is there a number I could call at Wyndham other than customer care to talk to a supervisor or manager?

My concern is that I planned on dumping the points into RCI but I have to do thar before the end of the year.

It sounds like your problem is not with Wyndham but rather the person that sold it to you.

And if they're unable to restore points to your account (which they may or may not be capable of doing), you should firmly request the seller reimburse you for the MFs of the points that were promised and not available to you. Honestly, this late in the year you're better off with the cash than the points anyway.

Was the use year adjusted? I had mine adjusted and lost the ability to use full points because of the year adjustment. In total I'm fine

I bought one like that, the seller had used half the points two weeks before it closed. The selling agent jumped all over them. I got a over night check for the maintenance fees. Remember your next round of points wont be coming until 2018 useage. Your going to be paying all this time for nothing. You need to immediately contact that selling agent. And get your mf money.

I confirmed that it is Wyndham who is not restoring the points. The Customer Care agent I spoke with indicated that the account should have the correct amount. After I called again, another agent told me that the account is in the research department. I am relying on the selling agent to rectify this situation as I understand that the previous owner has to be involved to balance the account correctly.

How do I calculate the MF's? If it comes down to this I want to make sure I have correct information.

I checked and the use year did not change. Although, Wyndham continues to tell me the account is under review so I am wondering if that may change.

Does anyone know if when you buy a resell property if the contract number stays the same?

Thanks figured it did. Keep calling the Wyndham automated line hoping it will change to my zipcode and finally be able to get this resell setup for us.
