Did the fee you pay to Disney World go up? When we went earlier this year I only had to pay like a $90 fee when I checked in at Disney....now it says $190. Did the fee get raised or is there another way to do it and pay the lower fee?

Yes, they doubled it a couple months ago.

It changed on August 4. Still a pretty good value with Wyndham points, but they sure are pushing it.

This was discussed previously .

This is a shift that might increase DVC exchange inventory in RCI by encouraging DVC owners to choose an outbound exchange. Before the August change, a DVC member choosing a destination through RCI paid a reduced $95 exchange fee; the remaining $95 was collected from the inbound exchange guest who booked the DVC week through RCI.

Now, the inbound guest pays 100% of the DVC member's outbound RCI exchange fee. Yes, you are reading that correctly: a DVC member choosing to book an RCI destination using their DVC points do not pay any exchange fee. (Their RCI membership also appears free to them as it is a corporate membership tucked into the dues structures.) Not sure if this "free exchange" is a temporary promotion, a pilot ... or longer reaching change.
