I know I have seen this, but cant find it.
Now that II has implemented upgrade fee, considering RCI

If you have an RCI account you go to Manage my deposits and check the calculator. If you don't have RCI, you post the details and someone will look it up for you.

Er, what tschwa2 said---beat me to it!

You need an RCI account---if you have one, you can use the deposit calculator. If you post the details of what you own one of us can look it up for you.

Not sure if I am correct -

but isn't the calculator more of an average - at least with float weeks like I own .

I know on a Mayan Palace / Vidanta thread - a couple of owners posted that they received 19 -21 TPU for a 1 bedroom
I believe the calculator was giving me 16-18 .

I realize - time point in the year is a variable / so this did not bother me (and) I was checking for a newbie TUG poster
and not actually depositing myself .

.

For most resorts the tpu indicated is the actual one you will receive if you deposit that week now. There are some float resorts that use an average and may be slightly different than what is indicated. The tpu's given can change but typically don't change more than 2-4 times a year approx. quarterly but there isn't a specific date when you know it may change. Tpu's to exchange into can change more often even on a daily basis.

I think that unless you have a corporate portal that uses generic points, you eventually are given a specific deposited week, and that week has a specific TPU based on size, season, and how early it was deposited. The calculator should agree with that deposited value at the time it is deposited.

However, if the management company picks the specific week on your behalf from the season you own, and you can't pick that week, you won't know in advance exactly what you'll get.

Found my way on RCI site to Deposit Calculator.
Entered resort # 3032 and room type -- studio, sleeps 4
But then what?
Nothing on screen to indicate next step, nothing to select.
Reservation is for 6/18 to 6/25 if someone is able to help.
Thanks in advance.

28 currently. It would have been 29 if you had deposited 9 months in advance.

Thanks for checking. Perhaps the prob was with me trying to use my 'not so smart' phone.

My experience with the RCI Deposit Calculator is the browser you're using makes a difference. I often have trouble using Internet Explorer on it, but Firefox seems to work all the time. It's flaky.

Mayan / Vidanta picks the week . So the minor variation makes sense .

Also every Mayan owner who posted had received (the same or) more TPU than the calculator- so for the Vidanta owner thinking of depositing it would work as a base .
At least one owner deposited a 2 bedroom lockout by splitting and received mid 30's TPU for a $ 825 range ( that year ) MF so about $ 25 cost per TPU - as I remember .

Safari is flaky as well.
