I recently went to Orlando and stayed in a Marriott that I traded through II and a Wyndham that I traded through RCI. We went to the Wyndham sales promo and found that they are pushing points for a very high price.

Does anyone know if either of these point systems can be purchased elsewhere (ebay etc.) without any restrictions? We purchased our Marriott through ebay and we are restricted to using II and cannot use the Marriott system.

Is it the same, if I buy their points secondhand.

My recommendation: Go to the Wyndham Discussion board on this site (TUG); Click to the farthest thread out (325); Start reading from there to the present. Although some of the info is outdated and maybe not totally relevant, you will learn everything and more you need to know about Wyndham TS points.

Yes you most certainly can buy Wyndham points resale on eBay and through people here on TUG too. Wyndham resale points are booked through directly through calling Wyndham or online if they ever get the new system up and running correctly. Your exchange company through Wyndham is RCI.
