Hi all,
Just wanted to lean on the experts here to see if what I am thinking about the new Point Deposit feature is correct.

If you move your points into the following year, the Reservation Transactions do not 'follow' the points into the next year. Is that correct? At least it fails to mention anything about Reservation Transactions on that part of the Exchange tab. It also fails to mention that a Reservation Transaction will be taken for depositing your points to the following year so I don't think this will use a Reservation Transaction.

I suppose you should use this year's Reservation Transactions to book something in the following year at the 10 month mark (because deposited points only 'work' in the Standard or Express windows). However, this means if I want to double my points in the following use year, and book something for Thanksgiving, I would loose the Reservation Transactions for this year because I wouldn't be able to book until January 24th (10 months).

Just trying to understand a bit more how to optimize the points deposit feature.

This is generally correct. Gold and Platinum owners receive unlimited Reservation Transactions; everyone else receives one per 77,000 points owned.

RT are valid Jan 1 - Dec 31, regardless of Use Year. $19 for additional RT after the complimentary ones are used.
