Will you be timesharing in Gatlinburg/ Sevier County next week? My friend and colleague is the ED of Volunteer East Tennessee, and she has been coordinating the volunteer response to the fires. Starting on 4.29, they, along with the Appalachian Service Project, will start reframing 25 houses to replace those lost in the forest fires. No need for any prior experience, and 300 volunteers are needed! Not interested in building? They need check-in and hospitality volunteers, too!

What a great way to give back to a community that has given so much to tourists over the decades. One day out of your vacation could mean so much!

(If you own or are on the HOA of any resorts there, maybe there is a way that the resorts could share this opportunity with their guests?)

Thanks!

We have done this kind of work a couple times while vacationing. It is so rewarding that these days are some of our fondest memories of our many timeshare stays.
