Hi,
I am considering an offer [to buy] from someone from MWT (Midwest Transfer). I see by other threads that a couple of individuals had a bad experience. Has anyone else had any experience with MWT? Thank you.

If you mean you have received an offer from them to sell or rent your timeshare - here is the rule of thumb:

Never pay any upfront fees to sell or rent your timeshare. The upfront fee companies are just in it for the upfront fees, and have to motivation to sell or rent your timeshare, because they already have your money.

purchasing from them

Thank you for responding to my post. Actually, she saw my wish list and made me an offer. I saw some complaints about the company and am wondering if anyone had other experiences.

I used MWT once and had no problems. Angela always promptly responded to my emails and kept me informed of what was going on. I'd recommend them.

Thank you Ron and Lisa. I know its not easy to trust someone or company you have never worked with before but hopefully the support of others will show marisa777 :)

I have also purchased from them. We had a minor communication hiccup, but still completed the transaction as expected in a reasonable amount of time. Angela was polite and professional.

We picked up a week through the Bargain Deals forum that closed through Mid-West Transfer. Angela was great to work with, no problems closing and the week was in our name quickly.

I've bought from Angela with MWT several times and I've never had an issue.

FWIW I believe they take credit cards so it's hard to go wrong.

I would be very careful with Midwest Transfer. I picked up some points from them and just learned that the maint fees on the points have not been paid since 2016 and I am now stuck with all past due maint fees, collection fees etc. I have reached out to them and I do not get a call back.
