Does anyone know how to schedule a meeting with a member services rep prior to arriving on site at a Wyndham property? I called and they told me they can't schedule them until you arrive, which I think is complete BS. I'm wanting to discuss ownership options with someone there and I would rather get it out of the way when we arrive that first day instead of ruining a day later in the week.

Ownership options? The only option an owner has is to pay tens of thousands of dollars to Wyndham or spend several hundred, give or take, on eBay for the same thing.

They will make sure you get some face time with a salesweasel. Just know going in that buying the same thing on eBay (or here) will cost roughly 10% (or less) of what Wyndham will charge for the same thing.

Have you been reading the painful posts on TUG about the new Wyndham reservation system?

Have you tried to USE the new Wyndham reservation system?

I won't buy more ... as I am thinking I should be DUMPING this crap. No professional company would ever have GONE LIVE with a system a bad as this AFTER having spent 3+ years in development. And the NEW rules changes TRULY favor corporate Wyndham ... not the owners unless you are an owner booking just a week or two.

And those with a computer background ... Wyndham can't seem to count points .. think they can count dollars any better? Wait, I pay for those points to book vacation stays >>> after I pay maintenance fees based on what they say it costs to run the resorts & the NEW reservation system.

Wyndham will paint a pretty picture of ownership til the rescind window closes.

But they will also tell you, that points bought off a secondary market, do not qualify for VIP benefits. If that matters

And just exactly WHAT ARE those VIP benefits? And what are they worth in dollars and cents? As in are they worth paying 10X the resale price? I think not.

I'm just saying that's what they will say. If you are 100,000 points from Gold by chance, points bought off the secondary market won't make you gold. The VIP benefits are good, if used properly. Worth 10X the money, over time probably yes, but that's over a lot of time. I'm grandfathered Gold, and they try awfully hard to sell me the 200,000 points I'm short of the new gold standard. I just keep saying NO
