Has anyone been to Marriott's Harbour Lake recently? Going next week and looking for advise on requesting any particular building? Thank you. Any other suggestions would be great - thanks!!

We were there in March for first time, liked the resort a lot. Small footprint, so room location not a huge deal, main request I would make would be a pool view refurbished room as I'm not positive if they've completed the refurb in the whole resort.

A week out may be a little late for a villa or building request. The suggestion is to usually call about two to three weeks out to place requests. In any event, the resort is small and it may also depend on the size of villa you have. Are you in a 2BR or a 1BR or studio? The studio and 1BR units are only in four of the buildings.

Smaller footprint as they say but the buildings right up front are probably the longest walk to the main pool area. Some buildings are close to the main pool/pirate ship pool and some are by the water park pool.

Its a great resort, we like it more than Grande Vista because its not so far away and you don't need to take little ones in a van/shuttle to get around the massive resort.

Enjoy! We just tried to buy a gold week for $1 on ebay and Marriott took it back. About to try another one this month.

Thanks for all your great input. We are staying in a 2 bedroom villa and looking forward to it. I will request a pool view and refurbished villa and see what happens - never hurts to ask! Thanks all.

Was able to get a 2 bedroom villa in Building 15 with a lake view. Villa was refurbished and beautiful and the location is perfect. This resort is perfect for children and I'm sure you all will have a great time there.
