We are staying at Hilton Head with th usual invite to a Presentation. I've had an email confirming the appointment and included in "The Gift"options is $100 "Marriott Money".
Previously we've had prepaid $100 credit cards but not come across "Marriott Money".
I assume it is a $100 you can only spend at a Marriott.
Be interesting to know.

In some locations, you may be able to use it for select participating restaurants or services in the area, but generally it is most often used for a room credit to pay for incidental charges.

Marriott Money on HHI is redeemable on property, at a variety of restaurants on HHI, as well as the Tanger Outlet Center in Bluffton for shopping (which is where we used ours).

Collected my Marriott Money today and as kds4 mentioned it's $ vouchers which you can spend on the Island. There's a huge list of restaurants and the like, and as we received $125 it will go towards some golf and food.
